It started with a dog who stopped jumping

My name's Rachel and Wag & Paw started because of a moment that probably sounds familiar if you're a dog owner.

Dexy my seven year old Working Cocker Spaniel, had always launched herself into the boot of the car without thinking twice. Then one morning, she just... didn't. She stood there, looked up at me, and hesitated.

It wasn't dramatic. She wasn't in obvious pain. But I knew my dog, and I knew something had changed.

 

What I found (and what I didn't)

I started looking into joint supplements. What I found was overwhelming - tablets, powders, chews, endless options, vague ingredient lists, and brands that seemed more focused on clever marketing than what was actually inside the tub.

I eventually found a powder made right here in the UK - 12 active ingredients, properly formulated, nothing to hide. I started Dexy on it.

I can't make promises about what it'll do for your dog - every dog is different, and I'd never claim otherwise. But I noticed a difference in mine. And once I did, I wanted other dog owners to be able to find the same thing without the hours of research I'd put in.

That's why I started Wag & Paw

The dogs

Dexy is my Working Cocker, now older and still going strong. Still walking, still causing chaos, still on her daily serving. She's the reason this brand exists.

Bodie is my four-year-old English Springer Spaniel. He doesn't need joint support yet but I believe in getting ahead of things. He's on a half serving every day, and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.

If there's one thing having two dogs has taught me, it's that you don't have to wait until something goes wrong to start taking care of them.
